We aim to promote an open-door culture where every employee feels comfortable reporting suspected misconduct without fear of retaliation, to facilitate organizational justice, and to prevent and mitigate violations of law. Being transparent, honest and ethical is the responsibility of every associate. As such, it is expected that any actual or suspected unethical behavior, as outlined in our Code of Business Ethics, is reported. DN’s policies protect whistleblowers and those assisting them from retaliation for submitting a report.
Misconduct falling within the scope of the Czech Whistleblower Protection Act includes all actions that would qualify as a criminal offense or as an administrative offense; actions that violate the Whistleblowing Act, other legal regulations, or EU regulations in selected areas, such as financial, tax or AML regulations, consumer protection, economic competition, environmental protection, and many others. Remember Diebold Nixdorf has global reporting lines available to make any report including on topics outside the scope of the national law. Whistleblowers can submit reports in writing, verbally or in person. Remember, our policies strictly prohibit retaliation against employees that report actual or suspected misconduct in good faith. Diebold Nixdorf s.r.o. accepts receiving notifications from a person who does not perform work or other similar activities for the obliged entity.
